Hi Vic
We're back in cold, wet Sheffield now. Had the time of our lives. Our son Joe married an American girl called Michelle which was the reason for going.
What an eye opener though on all kinds of level. The thing that struck us more than anything was the difference in lifestyle between the white Christians we hung around with and the black community in the poor area of Charleston. It made us indignant until we realised that there we are same situation when you compare our lifestyle with that of millions around the world. Question is, how do we change the situation for the better whilst doing the jobs we've been given to do?
What's happening with you?

I always see your comments late as you comment back on your page rather than mine and so I don't get notified! (Look out for the 'Comment Back' link at the bottom of people's comments and go there)
Glad you're feeling peaceful and getting more sleep too.
See you soon,
Sam.

Hi Sam,
Thanks for the thoughts. I have had the stitches out now, so I am sleeping better - amazing how much you miss an undisturbed night's sleep! I'm peaceful about the outcome, so I'll just wait for the doctors to agree.
All the best
Vic

Hi Sam,
Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. I had 2 minor ops, one to remove the remains of the mole on my shoulder and the other was the biopsy on my face. I have to say it was not a very nice experience, but hopefully it will be the last time under the surgeon's knife!
I'm patched up, with just a couple of stitches and a sore face. We just have to wait for the results now. They have said 3-6 weeks, but I'm hoping that's just covering themselves against delays. I hope it will be more like 10-14 days. I'll keep you posted,
God bless
Vic

Looking forward to seeing you and Di on Sunday.
Is there a good time on Sunday (or Saturday) we could actually come and pick up the projector so that we can get it setup early?
